Media Center Download

The Media Center is a special service of the German E-mail host GMX ([http://www.gmx.net/de/dienst]).
As being a host who allows 20 MB attachments, the special service consists of some kind of 'virtual mother board'. Each account has got 1GB (1024MB) space and the Media center has no file size limit except for that 1 GB.
Getting the files is pretty easy. All you need is to get the account's access information. You find that in the Database of the Anime Sharing Yahoo Group.

Next you get into the Log in site and log in with that information.
After logging in look at the navigations menu on the left. Look for a dark blue button called 'Media Center'. If you click on that, a new window will pop up. (Make sure, your PC doesn't block pop ups.) Then look at the left navigation menu again and click on 'Meine Dokumente'. The files in there will be displayed then. Check the file(s) you want and click on 'Datei' on the horizontal navigation menu and select download. One more little window will pop up saying that the download will start within 30 seconds. If it does not click on the text link on that little window.
You can download all files together and even full folders. If you chose more than one file, a Zip file containing all the files will be downloaded.

If the media center doesn't want to open, it can be, that the monthly bandwidth of 2GB has been exceeded. If that were to happen, you have to wait for the first day of the next month.

If a new file is being uploaded, I (Luna) most usually put a direct link up, too. this link is only valid for 30 days, but allows you to get direct access to the 'Meine Dokumente' folder of the Media Center without logging in. Downloading is exactly the same as above.
